Indonesian football fans is thrilled with the news that Bagus Kahfi has joined FC Utrecht on a 18-months contract basis. Just one week ago, news of Kahfi failed to meet the dateline set by Utrecht is spreading across the football nation. As we already know, the eredivisie club is willing to wait until Friday, Nov 27th at the latest for Barito Putra to sell them Bagus Kahfi. Unfortunately there is some miscommunications hindered the negotiation process between the two parties. The deal didn’t go through. Already accepted his fate, Bagus Kahfi is not deterred and still committed to his original club Barito Putra. But news emerged that PSSI the governing body of football in Indonesia is willing to help to galvanize new effort for Kahfi being able to join Utrecht.
A meeting between Kahfi, Barito Putra management and PSSI on Dec 1st in Jakarta successfully conclude the decision of Barito Putra to release Kahfi to Utrecht. After the outcome of the meeting the PSSI and all parties will contact the FC Utrecht to submit the newest decision. After waiting news from FC Utrecht regarding this latest situation, fans of Indonesia football is relieved to find that Kahfi is presented with a contract by FC Utrecht.
