Elkan Baggot Has Joined His Team Mates In Croatia

Indonesia National U19 Football player, Elkan Baggot has arrived in Croatia on October 7, 2020, to join Shin Tae Yong teams. The Indonesia national U19 football team stay in a hotel in Split, Croatia.

The centre-back just made his debut appearance for his club Ipswich Town in the Carabao Cup on October 6, 2020. He played for full 90 minutes, against Gillingham, sporting jersey no.46 in the team.

Baggot said he is happy to be there with the rest of the team. His condition is good and raring to go to train with the team.

Indra Sjafri, Technical Director of PSSI added that having Baggot is very good to the team especially in defence.

“Coach Shin Tae-Yong has now more players to choose to fill the centre-back position in the national U19 team” added Indra Sjafri.

The National U19 Team have a game this evening against local club NK Dugopolje in NK Uskok klis stadium, in Split, Croatia.

This will be the first friendly The U19 team have in the month October. They have been in the country since August 30, 2020.

In all, the team played seven friendly games, against Bulgaria (0-30), Croatia (1-7), Saudi Arabia (3-3), twice against Qatar (2-1 and 1-1), Bosnia Herzegovina (0-1), and Dinamo Zagreb (1-0).

Let’s hope Elkan Baggot play in tonight’s game, so we can see how he would fare and how would the team perform.
